WHAT IS BUSINESS TYCOON
Business tycoon is a game, unlike any other game the aim is to use real money to make even more real money.
The game is purely about business and turning that ever important profit.
The game consists of 5 groups of an awesome 10,000 individual members.
Technically once you begin to play Business Tycoon you will effectively become part of a company of upto 9999 employee's.
Everything from who you decide is in charge to how you conduct business is wide open.
Whilst it is possible it could make a group millionaires its highly unlikely, but that should not stop people dreaming.
SPARSE AND HUMBLE START
To start the forums are BLANK! We have deliberately set everything to zero day status, this means once you join every decision is made by the groups. From which forums to add or change to who is in charge of which sections.
To make the game very challenging each group is set a pre-game budget of £5. (thats roughly £0.0005 per player.)
Once you join you will be asked to sign the NDA for the forum, because its most of the forum will contain serious and lucrative business ideas and proposals from members.
HOW TO PLAY
The game itself is fairly straightforward, you have a total budget for the month, with an aim to make that turn into profit. Its upto you and your group to figure out the best way to do this.
First you will need to decide on some sections your forum needs and email them to me, I will then set up the forum for you. Then you must appoint a member to be forum admin who will be solely responsible for your forum.
Once you have your forum admin, you can then decide what your forum should contain.
Its then up to you and your forum admin to get the 10,000 members it requires to begin trading. There is no time limit on this, but you cannot trade until you have at least 20 members. Groups are in competition with each other, so its essential once you begin you rapidly build up your own membership base.
The budget is pre-set and not adjustable. The budget is made up of £5 AND any profit* your group made from the previous month less any costs.
You can run ANY LEGAL business you wish however we implement a decency clause, Adult services and similar likely to offend businesses cannot be created. Escort agencies and Adult websites are NOT allowed.
LEGAL ASPECTS: The businesses you create and trade are legally obliged to follow UK law and the relevant laws of there country they are created in, this means you may need to request things such as funds to pay for lawyers and apply for legal assistance to form limited partnerships or limited companies and all will belong to pubnetworks uk holdings. You may buy as a group companies completely from pubnetworks uk at cost price.
You will be responsible for any taxation on profits, and any documentation relating to your businesses. You must keep full and correct records at all times, and submit to pubnetworks uk a full set of accounts each month. Failure to do so may mean pubnetworks will temporary appoint another group to manage your company to correct any errors.
Audits: Every 3 months pubnetworks uk audits each group. Members of businesses not measuring up to expectations will be disbanded and asked to leave. This is a bit like being fired.
Once all that is taken care of all you need to do is agree how to spend the money, and sell or trade what you have.
At the end of 12 months you get to share 80% of what the group has made.
TIPS
You can use your own skills to supplement the overall groups profits, for example setting up a website with the £5 and making your own software using group members to design the site and write the software.
Members can advertise in there own shops as some will own other businesses themselves.
RULES
Each business must be legal in the UK AND any other country that the business is run from.
You must be over 18 and hold a valid driving license**
Decency: No offensive names, racist or harassment type businesses nor any adult sites or adult services
You should not FIGHT on the forums or post spam, it takes time to remove spam, and the other members will not thank you when it takes there valuable time to clean up.
Etiqutte, as its a game we dont expect people in suits, but we do expect people to be professional.
Rules can be updated at any time, and are to be considered in progress, this means if you think its not allowed theres little need to ask.

You may not trade with or set up business in the above listed countries at this time, countries do change, and the rules will reflect this. What is sad is we have to ban an entire country because of fraud, lets hope there government act soon. Pubnetworks is open to everyone but we have to take steps to ensure our members are protected.
* Profits can go up and down, adverse trading will affect the groups performance this should be identified quickly to avoid losing vital profit.
** A valid driving license is required in order for you to collect stock or perform duties assigned by the group where applicable. We do not check you have a license but the group will remove you if its found you cannot legally drive.
