Pubnetworks UK Privacy Policy.
Everything on pubnetworks is treated as confidential until you set it to either public or for friends only. This gives you complete control of how your information is stored and how the information is seen and used.
In order to operate the web site we do need things like your name and email, this is purely so we can send you information regarding your account. We do not sell or allow others to see your email or real name. Unless you print your email in a post on pubnetworks and make it public your email will remain private. (if you do print your email it will be removed in most cases anyway!)
We do not pass your information to third party companies, and we do not tolerate spam.
By default everything is set is PRIVATE, this means only you can see the information, this includes your existence, the system will not recognise your existence unless you change it.
When you leave your entire online data is zipped and logged. It returns to private. You may download the zip up to 12 months after you leave. After 12 months the zip is also deleted. (we zip the entire contents you upload, record any posts etc, this is in case you change your mind.)
In the event you commit a crime, We require and request a court order to deliver your data to the police. We will not send your data upon request to any other agency.
This privacy agreement isnt set in stone, basically unless you make it public or for friends or a court orders us to reveal data its considered confidential, and we do not use data other than in normal running of the site.
At times there may be additions or re-wording of this agreement. Sometimes we may need to make things clearer, but we will never adjust our core policy. You are in control of your information.
Location specific policy:
In new member registration, we require you to enter a valid birthdate, Pubnetworks UK does NOT record this information we ask for a valid birthdate to ensure our members are all over 18 at registration to prevent minors accessing a website about pubs and clubs or reading inappropriate material. Also in the Registration we request a lastname, this is not essential, but some people prefered to be called Mr Smith other find David is acceptable, its purely used to address you as a person in correspondance from us directly. The lastname can be left blank.
