After a further 180 days it will be deleted, all content will be destroyed by deletion and any money in the account will either be available for you to claim or be placed into a special unclaimed money fund. If after 2 years you do not claim any money which may be owed to you, we will assume you have donated it to charity and pay a percentage to a charity of our choosing. Once an account is locked all links to the account are terminated, it is dormant and becomes unavailable to view, edit or appraise.

Termination of accounts:

Sometimes we have to terminate accounts, this is something we really do not wish to do, please read the terms and conditions carefully, and understand if you break the rules we will have no option but to terminate your account in many cases without warning. Pubnetworks UK is designed to be a fun place, but ultimately it needs to be a safe place for its members, we dont allow fighting, harassment or racially motivated content, spam and any other form of abuse on our website its chatrooms, the video conferencing and the live feeds. Unlike any other social network we will seek the prosecution of criminals using pubnetworks for any activity we deem to be illegal. Pubnetworks will not risk all its members losing the website and all there hard work for criminals and abusive people.

Sites such as anti 419 forums have a wealth of information on how to stop yourselves being scammed, and we hope from time to time there members will alert us to fraudulent activity on Pubnetworks UK. Over time we aim to be able to work alongside these groups, forming a close business relationship to ensure Pubnetworks UK stays free from crime. Whilst we do not condone vigilanty type activity we do require members to report crime as on any social network sometimes the users identify things quicker than our moderation can. Ive added this to the terms because its important, as a company we need to ensure our members are protected in as many ways as technology can provide, and social networks are powered by people. We will of course monitor all uploads and have daily and even hourly profile checks by both machine and humans.

Disputes:

From time to time things can go wrong, we could make mistakes or our members can make mistakes, with disputes this needs addressing, so we offer a much fairer system for settling disputes. In many cases disputes are either decided amicabally between two parties, or a third impartial person makes a decision based on both parties arguments. With Pubnetworks UK, once we have enough trusted members we will offer a selection of arbitration routes:

  • Private dispute channel so members can talk to each other in an attempt to solve the issue.
  • Both parties submit via email there complaint AND what they expect to happen
  • An arbitrator tries to help both parties reach an acceptable solution
  • UNIQUE the parties can submit an ANONYMOUS version of the complaint where 12 ordinary members will examine the information and make a judgement, the Arbitrator will then act on there decision.

If the mistake is made by us, we will try as quickly as we can to sort the problem out, we will email you updates reguarly in most cases within a few hours and unlike many social networks all complaints are handled by humans.

REGISTRATION:

By signing up and clicking register you agree to abide by our terms and conditons. To prevent spam, we have recently introduced an email verification system and are also planning an SMS keylock. By clicking register you are agreeing we may send you an email to the address you specified in order to unlock your account for your personal use.

At this time we are actively monitoring all registrations, this is to ensure that spam/fraud does not occur on pubnetworks uk. By confirming your email address it makes robot registrations less likely, it also prevents fraud to a degree. Once we get running from the beta we will introduce more automation to the system.
